Locations - setting Current location. top.

When you click "Locations", you'll see the list of cities you've added (sample below). To set AthanTimes to a particular location, simply highlight the location of choice and click "Set Current" button.

An internet connection is neede to perform this function. To lookup a USA or Canadian City, enter the zipcode in the first box, click "Lookup" to find the matches.
To lookup any other country, select the country from the drop down list, then enter at least the first two letters of the city name, click "Lookup"

In the "City Search Results", you will get a list of matching cities. Double-click the matching city to "Add" it to your list of locations. A sample screen shot is above.

Check "Use Day Light Savings" if your location/city/town uses it. Uncheck this option when Day Ligth savings is not in effect.
Check "Give Advanced Alert" if you'd like AthanTimes to display a popup message that the next due prayer is approaching.
Select the desired Asr Calculation method by selecting one of the two available options.
Select the desired Clock Format of either 12 hours (with AM/PM) settings, or 24 hour format.
Select the desired fajr and Isha calculation method desired. You can set your own angles if you so desire.

Alerts Setup - Mobile Alert. top.

AthanTimes is the first Islamic prayer-time calculation software that provides this feature. This feature allows you to set up AthanTimes to send wireless alert messages to you cellphone at time of prayer.

To enable this feature, check the "Enable Mobile Alerts" checkbox.
Then, follow the steps mentioned in the box below to start recieving alerts. Please follow the directions accurately.
Once you get a text message sent to your wireless device with your mobile device ID and personal code, enter them in the box, and click "Register".

Here you control the alerts for the individual prayers.

To enable alers for a prayer, check the "Alert on" checkbox.
Enable the silent alert (popup message) if you so desire.
Enable Audio alert if you so desire. AthanTimes will play an MP3 file at time of prayer.
You can optionally select any MP3 file on your computer to be played at time of prayer by clicking the Browse link.
Enabling mobile alert for an individual prayer will be disallowed unless you have previously enabled Mobile Alert (see Alerts Setup - Mobile Alert)
Repeat these steps for all prayers. Once done, AthanTimes is fully customized to work the way you want it.
